Nigeria @ 50 In Trafalgar Square

Nigeria is one of the African countries celebrating 50 years of independence this year. To commemorate this Golden Jubilee, on Sunday 10 October Trafalgar Square will host an exciting event to highlight the rich culture of Nigeria and to raise an awareness of what Nigeria has to offer.

The day will consist of various Nigerian talents such as traditional dancers, comedy, poetry and musicians from the UK, USA and motherlands,. There will also be stalls selling Nigerian food and drink and arts and crafts. There will also be a number of surprise guest appearances.
