Amazing Africa

On Saturday 9 October, Amazing Africa turns Trafalgar Square into a bubbling celebration of African culture through music, dance, enactments, food and arts & crafts. The line up includes a wide spectrum of musical genres includingTraditional Dance troupes, Krar Collective from Ethiopia, Abdul Diop from Senegambia and Muntu Valdo from Cameroon.

Food traders from the best of these regions will recreate the spicy lingering aromatic tastes that are synonymous with the continent and stall will stock various traditional colourful arts and crafts like beads, textiles, paintings, carvings.
